Lori Jackson Photography has received a face lift! I have been knee deep in color schemes, logo graphics, and CSS code for the better part of a couple weeks. I am very please that I did all the css styling myself with just a little help from my darling programmer husband. I still have a few little tweaks that I'll be implementing over the next little bit, but the majority of the new design is complete.

I have to apologize for the lack of posts lately. I have been working on a new website design/image and it has consumed my time. I am hoping to go live very soon, but in the mean time, here is a self portrait I took recently and also a link to my lastest on Flickr.

Brand new babies are so, so special! They aren't always easy to photograph because their moods are so sporadic, but sometimes the raw emotion they bring to an image is so powerful, especially for the parents. Once the sleep deprivation wears off and the little one begins sitting/crawling/walking, they'll look back and remember the joy of those newborn moments, both calm and chaotic.
