This Saturday marks my family’s first “Walk Now for Autism Speaks,” nearly one year after my son’s diagnosis of Autism. I don’t put much stock in my ability to fundraise; I mean, who likes to ask for money anyway!? I am completely in awe and overwhelmed by the generosity of people, both friends and family who know my son and others who’ve only ever seen his photo. Jonas is a sweet little boy who has his moments for sure.
I am so excited to say that we have exceeded our $500 goal, which I never expected to do. Still, every penny counts.
